the concept of blossom grew out of frustration at the lack of high quality bath and body care lines in canada that international consumers are exposed to daily. although these product lines were promoted in fashion and beauty magazines, they were difficult to find in canadian retail outlets. what is special about these product lines is that they seemed to direct the consumer away from the usual mainstream department and drug store lines; lines that haven't been meeting the needs of an increasing number of consumers. in response to this gap in the health and beauty industry, blossom bath & body opened its doors in may 2004 on historic main street in unionville, ontario, and has since expanded to additional hot-spots in downtown toronto.
blossom offers a range of products created primarily by young, female entrepreneurs that are not mass-marketed or mass-produced. these independent companies focus on quality rather than quantity and their products are made in small batches to ensure the best integrity of the product. in addition, blossom carries many lines that are organic, all natural, and free of harsh-chemicals.
